Thanks to Dan, for sharing his car and life (including and his fruit and nuts!) I love the loft and how he has turned the bare concrete and pipes into a comfortable home.
Dan's loft is in the corner, straight ahead.
The long weekend with Krista in Pleasonton was special as well. I drove up I-5 and was amazed at the profusion of color from the wildflowers covering the green hills, and the miles of budding fruit trees So much of the year that drive is through brown/gold grass so I picked the perfect week to visit. It was great to see Lyrica as well and to see that she is thriving so well in the Bay Area. The highlight of my trip was our walk through Tilden Park in Berkeley. Mike, Krista and I took Boomer (the dog) for a walk and a picnic. The weather was warm and we were enjoying the hike when Mike asked, "what is that?". We looked about 100 yards ahead to see what we thought was a coyote. Further study revealed that it was a large cat - yes, it was a mountain lion. Nothing like a large wild cat to turn a brisk walk into an even brisker jog.
The Golden Gate Bridge is just over my right shoulder.
The rest of my time was in Visalia, both working and visiting. Thanks to Linda and Sarah for letting me stay with them. It was great to be able to join in a book club as well.
I left Fresno very early Friday morning in warm weather and landed in Denver in a snow blizzard. They had to defrost the plane before we took off for Dayton. Luckily it was more like Fresno then Denver when I landed in Dayton.
Next visit - Gary comes along!
